"Do not be in a hurry to declare your love to someone. It is your love that makes you happy and provides an impetus, a meaning to your life; but since the one you love is not yet a perfect being, if they know your feelings they can easily spoil everything without meaning to. They’ll say to themselves, ‘There’s an open door, let’s take advantage of it.’ It’s only natural. Then when you feel you haven’t been understood, you will suffer, you’ll be disappointed, and then what will be left of your love? You must understand, it’s the love that is important, more important than the person you love, so don’t go sacrificing it for the sake of someone who may well destroy it if you make the mistake of revealing it to them. You will be able to talk about it when you are both well prepared and very strong. But until then, don’t say anything, just keep loving; it’s your love that nourishes you, that gives you zest, the taste for life, the desire to overcome all obstacles. So, do not lose it."

"How many philosophers, doctors, psychiatrists and students of the human psyche will acknowledge the influence of helpful or harmful entities, which come either to assist and support human beings or else to torment and destroy them?... Very few. For the great majority, it’s a matter of chemical elements either disturbing or restoring the correct functioning of the mind. True, the effect of chemical elements on the mind cannot be denied, but these elements are produced by the presence of the helpful or harmful entities that human beings draw to themselves. If, due to their weaknesses and lack of understanding, human beings open the door to dark entities, these will enter them and bring about disturbances in their psychic fabric. Doctors and psychiatrists may give these disorders all kinds of names and treat them with chemical substances – that’s another matter. Actually, the sole origin of such disorders is those undesirables that human beings have attracted to themselves by their flawed way of life."

WORD FOR THE DAY Monday, Nov. 23 |

We plant seeds that will flower
as results in our lives, so best to
remove the weeds of anger,
avarice, envy and doubt, that
peace and abundance may
manifest for all. |

"You are bound to meet with difficulties and obstacles. But if you take them too seriously, you will land yourself in inextricable situations, simply because these difficulties and obstacles can only be overcome if you begin by making light of how serious they are. Believe me, your true Self actually remains unaffected by your tribulations. Your true Self is above all of life’s vicissitudes. So, whatever trials you have to face, you can tell yourself, ‘Of course, these events are real; I can’t deny such and such a failure, disappointment or accident… But is it really me it’s happening to? No, I am an eternal, immortal spirit, and all this inconvenience is happening to someone else; this is just an illusion, and I’m its spectator.’"

Feeling gratitude and not
expressing it is like wrapping
a present and not giving it. |

"If you can strengthen your body’s defences, it will be so well armed that the enemy, illness, confronted with such resistance, will turn in its tracks. The proof is, during epidemics there are people who go about safely among the sick without ever catching anything, whereas others, who take all kinds of precautions, are carried off by the disease. Why? Because the first people’s constitution was such that it didn’t allow germs to take hold. When the fortress is well protected, the enemy remains powerless. That is why it is so important that, rather than concentrating on illness, we begin by studying health – the laws that guarantee continuing good health and the factors contributing to it (breathing, nutrition, behaviour) – and that these laws be taught to everyone. True medicine begins here."

the air your work need not
be lost. That is where they
should be. Now put the
foundations under them.
